Venursol was the greatest living god and embodiment of the sun as the source of all life and virtue.

Venursol was always depicted as standing proud above all other things. In some allegories she was shown as a serpent circling the sun, a face surrounded by radiance or as a woman bedecked in gold and silver with a a gaping mouth issuing light. In all depictions, however, she was terribly majestic and beautiful.
