In some allegories she was shown as a serpent circling the sun, a face surrounded by radiance or as a woman bedecked in gold and silver with a gaping mouth issuing light. In all depictions, however, she was terribly majestic and beautiful. Her colors were gold and silver and her symbol was the blazing sun.

Priesthoods of Venursol wore gilded vestments and vowed to never speak when the sun was high for any reason but to sing the praises of their Lady.
