The Earth was a world home to diverse flora and fauna. It had a breadth of cultures and an eclectic pantheon of gods.

== Shape ==

As of 107, scholarly consensus was that the earth resembled a perfect spheroid comprised mostly of ocean and Snarl. More common wisdom placed the shape of the world as a plain disk with a concave surface rimmed by mountains. The Earth has two known remaining continents: In the west are [[The Outer Isles]] ruled by [[The Seneschal]]. In the east lie [[The Lands of the Highpriest]] under the suzerainty of [[The Highpriest]].

== Cosmology ==

The heavens spun around the surface of the Earth creating the cycles of day and night. This phenomenon is commonly attributed to the Wheel of the Heavens, a mythical artifact said to be kept by [[Horn]] which is the axis of the stars. The calendar of the Tal uses the phases of the moon in conjunction with the placement of the stars to divide the year into twelve even segments.
