==Description==

Like other men of his family Aillas had pale brown hair which he wore short. He was often described as having lively emerald eyes and a calm demeanor. His regalia consisted of a coif and laurel headpiece along with an ermine mantel and loincloth. As a saint, his attributes showed [[The Highpriest|The Highpriest's]] [[Treaty-Sword]] piercing his lungs.

==History==

Aillas was the first and only Grand Duke of Elfheim. For one-thousand years he kept the peace between the great houses and was regarded as an especially egalitarian and sophisticated ruler. Besides his duties as Grand Duke Aillas mastered traditional elfin singing and poetry, mathematics, horse archery, falconry and philosophy. Some claimed Aillas was a living Saint or an angel sent by the Gods to usher in the Age of Elvenkind. When he was killed in single combat against [[The Highpriest]] many flocked to sing the praises of Saint Aillas. His cult remained a powerful authority in Elfheim as of '107.
