[[Adventures of Raun'shesh]] is a campaign set in [[Raun'shesh]] which is a continent in the world of [[Enu]] and follows the [[Enu Calendar]].

=Events=

[[Kunnar Ashilt]], [[Tricksy Shimmerbottom]], [[Globbnok]] and [[Klibig Dragonscale]] found themselves in jail for their own different reasons, there they spent their first night together. In the morning, a [[gnome]] who said his name was [[Gweg Shimmerbottom]] came and collected them. He also said that they wouldn’t be in any legal trouble because of the actions that put them in jail and would get money if they helped him out with a problem he had.

The job they got was to investigate the sewers underneath a storage room within [[Castle Sel'ar|the castle]]’s outer walls, that was supposedly infested by a large pack of rats. The rats seemed sick, and some of them where very large. The party managed to clean it out and recived their pay.

Afterwards they were invited to [[Barner's Barn and Bathhouse|Barner’s Bathhouse]] with Gweg, and then to eat at his house, where they met his wife [[Clara Shimmerbottom|Clara]] and their children, [[Kogler Shimmerbottom|Kogler]] and [[Sarah Shimmerbottom|Sarah]]. Gweg then told them that he would pay for their stay in [[The Bugztein Tavern]] that night and maybe give them a new job in the morning.

==3rd of Shigarzur==
===Gweg's Disappearance===

On the morning of the 3rd of Shigarzur 766, [[Globbnok]], [[Tricksy Shimmerbottom]], [[Mjrn]] and [[Sir Villevard]] got seperate messages from [[Clara Shimmerbottom]] saying that [[Gweg Shimmerbottom]] had gone missing, and that she would like for them to go look for a sign of might have happened to him. She said their neighbour had found [[Gweg Shimmerbottom|Gweg]]'s key in the door to the food cellar that had previously been infested by rats. [[Clara Shimmerbottom|Clara]] said that [[Gweg Shimmerbottom|Gweg]] would never have gone down there, given his fear of rats.

Everyone decided to accept the quest and met each other outside the gate to the outer castle walls. [[Clara Shimmerbottom|Clara]] handed them the key, and they descended down into the cellar. Everything looked in place in the food cellar, apart from the drain-lid being slightly ajar. The party decided to follow this lead, and descended down into the sewer system. After walking deeper into the sewers they happened upon a brutish orc and a halfling who attacked them on sight.

During the fight, after the party defeated the orc without much difficulty, the smaller halfling man transformed into a strange humanoid rat. After managing to bite [[Sir Villevard]], the halfling man was also defeated and transformed back into his halfling form.

Getting deeper into the sewers, [[Globbnok]] spotted hair strands that unmistakably belonged to [[Gweg Shimmerbottom]]. Soon after, the party also discovered Gweg's distinctive purple winter hat. The search had led them to a large junction where sewage from multiple sources converged into a single tunnel. As they prepared to approach, [[Globbnok]] caught sight of movement in the water.

[[Sir Villevard]] recognized the movement in the water as two Sewer Eeze. As the party attempted to slip past, the creatures attacked. The party eventually triumphed and gathered themselves to descend into the tunnel ahead of them. Villevard was sent ahead to scout and entered a large antechamber downstream. There he was met by a group of maintenance workers who regarded him with suspicion. When [[Globbnok]] and a shapeshifted [[Mjrn]] made an impromptu entrance the workers moved to attack. They were soon joined by a mage donning a disguise of [[Gweg Shimmerbottom]] who released a swarm of rats on the party.

The workers, the rats and the mage were all disposed off. In the aftermath of the battle, the party decided to investigate the room from where the mage entered and discovered a small study populated by a talking rat in a cage named [[Gormer]]. By relaying his requests through [[Mjrn]], [[Gormer]] asked to be dressed and was then permitted to accompany the party further into the sewers.

With Gormer in tow, the party entered a laboratory decorated with several terrariums populated by rats. Some appeared frenzied while others were entirely docile. While exiting the laboratory, [[Sir Villevard]] was ambushed by two shapeshifting humans. During the battle, the party discovered that the man-rats harbored an allergy to silver.  

Returning to the central chamber, the party decided to interrogate one of the maintenance workers. To cover up their tracks they force fed the worker an alcoholic solution which caused him to quickly pass out. The party then headed back to the laboratory and opened the small door which appeared to lead into a storage room. Inside was a sleeping Otyugh, who was roused at the sound of [[Globbnok]]'s entry. Under one of the crates [[Globbnok]] spied a small hatch in the floor. He was then pulled out by [[Sir Villevard]], who barred the entrance leaving the creature contained once more.

Further into the corridor the party encountered a fork. They investigated noises coming upstairs from their right, using the workers keys to open a set of locked doors. To avoid being discovered they decided against continuing ahead, instead taking the left path. This lead them to another set of locked doors. Behind were two rat people whom they bypassed via passing [[Mjrn]] and [[Sir Villevard]] off as figures of authority.

In the next room the party confronted a well-dressed halfling and his ogre retainer who were holding [[Gweg Shimmerbottom|Gweg]] captive in a locked cage. Just as the halfling was getting wise to their true intent, [[Sir Villevard]] started a combat. Neither of the conspirators survived the battle. [[Gweg Shimmerbottom|Gweg]] was then freed from his captivity and reunited with the party, revealing that he had undergone the same transformation as the were-rats. 

In the halflings study they found a letter addressed to him as well as a signet ring with the heraldry of [[House Aubert]]. From the letter, the party learned of a cure which they believed was guarded by the creature in the storage room.

A plan was hatched to lure the Otyugh away using the corpses of the slain maintenance workers. The plan went of without a hitch and the creature escaped further into the sewers. [[Globbnok]] recovered the cure from the hatch in the floor whereupon the party set off to find an exit.

==4th of Shigarzur==

The next morning, 4th of Shigarzur, 766, [[Gweg]] paid the party and asked them to try to look for [[King Rodent]], to try to stop the operation that was going on. He said to go look for Melli of [[House Aubert]] living in [[Enial'shesh#Zikaly|Zikaly]] to see if she knew anything. The party agreed and started their walk towards [[Enial'shesh#Zikaly|Zikaly]].

After a bit they happened upon a few imps causing destruction in the streets. They acted quickly and defeated the devils before they could cause more destruction. After patching up their wounds, the party continued on.

A few hours later, as the party took a turn into a darker, less populous street, [[Mjrn]] felt watched, so she looked behind her. There she saw a small dog suddenly transform into a Barghest which immediately said: "Finally. Worthy opponents.", and launched itself towards the party. A combat broke loose, ending with the apparent death of [[Villevard]], while the rest were knocked unconscious.

==5th of Shigarzur==

[[Globbnok]], [[Trimpa]] and [[Mjrn]] woke up in a dim-lit small house with their wounds tended to. The healer who helped them seemed to be [[Berd]], a herbalist halfling situated in [[Vidunia]]. He told the party that [[Sir Villevard]] was in way worse condition than they were, but that he would recover, though it would take time. When [[Trimpa]] accused him of resurrection or necromancy, he assured them that all he was doing was his normal herbal medicine. He also told them that he was in contact with [[House Shimmerbottom]] and that [[Gweg]] would contact the party if [[Sir Villevard]]'s condition changed. He then asked them to thank the guy who'd saved them from the streets, who'd be working in the backyard, so they went there. There they met [[Dendan]] who was actively cutting up the Barghest. Though initially grateful, they soon realized [[Dendan]] had rummaged through their belongings and started questioning his intentions. [[Dendan]] eventually admitted to it, but told them he could help them in their ongoing mission in trade for their forgiveness. The party accepted and they continued their journey towards [[Zikaly]]. 

There they met with [[Melli Aubert]] who said she didn't know what the rat symbol was and that she and her husband was the only [[House Aubert|Aubert]]'s she knew about living in the city. So the party decided to talk to her husband, [[Neru Aubert]], who seemed to know nothing. So they went back to talk to [[Melli Aubert]], who then remembered that a few weeks back, her uncle [[Larqone Aubert]] had come to the city to visit, and that he had wanted to see the plague house in which their family had been held after [[The Ter'alaru Sick]]. She gave the party directions, lended them a horse and carriage and then they were on their way back to [[Vidunia]] where the plague house was located. 

[[Globbnok]] sneaked up to the plague house, hoping to get a view of what was inside. He managed to see movement on the inside, before tripping on a twig, making a loud thump. He then quickly climbed up on the roof before a large man opened the door and saw the rest of the party. The man, wielding a machete, claimed the building had been abandoned and now belonged to him. Then [[Trimpa]] thanked him for his service and sent him a silver coin, hoping to see if he was a wererat, but it did not burn him and he closed and locked the door. Then [[Dendan]] and [[Ralph]] used brute strength to swing open the door.

Inside they discovered a sparsely furnished room with a carpet and a table in its center. Its two inhabitants attempted to fend off the intruders, but were killed in the process. After investigating the area, the party found a grate concealed under the carpet, which they descended down through into the sewers below.

Beneath the plauge house, the party tracked the sewers to the heart of the operation. There they confronted [[King Rodent]] himself. After some struggle, [[King Rodent]] was slain, and his influence over the city broken.

==6th - 7th of Shigarzur==
The party went east on request from [[Gweg Shimmerbottom]] to [[Wrasseton]] to deliver food and inspect monster attacks that had occured in the village. On the way, they stopped in [[Menun]] to deliver a package to the mayor, [[Letter Cattlewood]]. There, they helped the village defeat a Winter Hag that had kidnapped one of the younger villagers. The party then continued on towards [[Wrasseton]].

In [[Wrasseton]] they met [[Brazzt]], a tavernkeep and fisherman that had connections to [[Gweg Shimmerbottom]]. He informed them of several disappearances in the village over the past week. Investigating further, the party discovered that a large food storage had been completely emptied and a shrine to Zyemethvis had been vandalized. Noting that the events had occured late at night, the party decided to keep watch during the night. 

Later in the evening, [[Globbnok]] spotted three shapes entering the church from the sea. Acting quickly, the party confronted the Sea Devils inside as they began to vandalize the building. After a brief but intense fight, the creatures were driven off. 

==8th of Shigarzur==
As the party was preparing for breakfast [[Mjrn]] got a message in her head in [[Gweg Shimmerbottom]]'s voice saying; "We are safe. Don't give my whereabouts to anyone. I am taking the name Kven Cornmill, going undercover. Stay away from Enial'shesh, and stay safe".

Less then two hours later, the party understood what [[Gweg Shimmerbottom|Gweg]] was talking about as a news crier from [[Enial'shesh]] that had ridden all night arrived and told the news that [[Enial'shesh]] had been attacked and that [[Tirith Richlyth|the king]] was dead.

	The party decided to focus on the task at hand and set sail eastward with [[Brazzt]]'s boat. Soon, [[Globbnok]] spotted his prey, which led them to a cave. Inside, they found the injured creature and slew it along with the other Sedacthy in the cave.
