| |
| The crew of the Flaccid Thruster journey to the wreck of the HPMS Javelin, an [[Incorporate]] war barge from the twilight of the [[Last War]], in hopes of recovering a [[False-Vacuum Bomb|superweapon]] allegedly mounted on the ships mortar. During the operation they are menaced by glitch-gremlins, hazardous radiation, alloid ship-stealers and a mad android crewmate. As they return to their vessel to recover, they find it has been seized by hostile ship-stealers, and are forced to fight to drive the invaders out!

| After rescuing their vessel and getting their bearings about them the spacers return to the Javelin but find that their way is barred by a locked bulkhead. In order to secure the requisite access codes they must outmaneuver a pair of ferrous eeze and pilfer the desk of the ships chief engineer. With the way forward open the spacers make for the missile command. There, they retrieve the weapon and make preparations to return it to their employers.
